Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
Little Star Society is operated by TINTAISHASKIDS, LLC. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit littlestarsociety.com, purchase digital products, or contact us.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to process and support orders:
- Order information we store: the email address you enter at checkout, the products you purchased, the price paid, payment status, transaction references (Stripe session and payment IDs), and the date of purchase. Buyers do not create accounts and we never store passwords for shoppers.
- Checkout information handled by Stripe: your billing address (used to calculate the correct sales tax for digital goods) and your payment card details are collected directly by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see, receive, or store full card numbers.
- Support messages: whatever you choose to include when you email us.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, timestamps). These rotate automatically and are retained only briefly.
- Owner sign-in: the shop owner signs in to an admin dashboard with Google; that account stores a name, email, and profile picture. Shopper information is not sent to Google.
We use no analytics tools, no advertising trackers, no social-media pixels, and no embedded third-party media. Fonts and images are self-hosted.
Cookies
Our site sets a single cookie: a secure, encrypted session cookie for the shop owner's admin dashboard. It is not used for shoppers and tracks nothing. During checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and its optional Link faster-checkout service.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We use Stripe's Managed Payments service, which means Stripe acts as the merchant of record for sales-tax purposes: it calculates, collects, files, and remits applicable taxes, and it emails your receipt. Information you provide during checkout is handled under Stripe's Privacy Policy. The shop receives only your email address, the payment confirmation, the amount, and transaction references — never your card details.
How we use information
We use information to process orders, deliver your downloads, restore download access if you lose it, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, maintain the website, and meet applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
We do not run a marketing list and we do not send promotional email. Receipts and download-support messages are the only emails you will receive as a result of a purchase. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and offer a clear unsubscribe.
Sharing
Information is shared only with the service providers needed to operate the shop:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing, sales-tax handling, and receipts.
- Our hosting provider (Emergent) — operates the website, database, and file storage infrastructure.
- Google — sign-in for the owner's admin dashboard only; no shopper data is sent to Google.
We do not sell personal information, do not share it for advertising, and do not participate in cross-site tracking. Information may be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect rights and prevent fraud.
Retention and security
Order records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes, generally up to seven years. Download links remain active while the shop operates so you can download again; this is not a lifetime-hosting guarantee, so please save your files. Server logs rotate automatically and are kept only briefly. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and maintain business records.
We use reasonable safeguards — HTTPS encryption, passwordless Google sign-in for the admin dashboard, and payment keys stored only on the server — but no system is completely secure. You may request deletion of your order email and support messages; transaction records required for tax and accounting must be retained by law.
Your choices
Contact tintaishaskids@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. We may verify your identity (for example, by confirming the checkout email on the order) and we may retain records required for legal or legitimate business purposes. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location.
Children
Our purchasing and support services are intended for adults (18 or older) buying materials for themselves or for children in their care. The shop does not offer children's accounts and does not knowingly collect personal information from children; our products are downloaded and printed by adults. Children should use the materials with appropriate adult supervision. Please do not submit a child's personal information in support messages.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Contact: tintaishaskids@gmail.com.
